HiKING VACATION PROGRAM

Has been developed for those interested in an economic hiking vacation. We provide the guided hikes, snacks, breakfast, lunch, dinner and the accommodations starting at the SPECTACULAR LOW RATE OF $167 PER NIGHT per person including taxes and gratuities. Massages, yoga class and cooking classes are available à la carte.

Appalachian Trail Adventures is a hiking spa that provides daily guided hikes along the Appalachian Trail and the Long Trail throughout the Green Mountains of Vermont. Our guests are hikers who do not feel comfortable hitting the trails alone and those seeking a healthful lifestyle. We are located along the Long Trail and the Appalachian Trail to provide maximum access to the hiking trails.

Our programs offer customized day hikes and excursions to the most scenic Vermont villages in small group settings. Our guests run from young adults to seniors seeking health and fitness at different levels of ability and fitness. We provide an affordable all inclusive hiking spa vacation the accommodations, spa cuisine, fitness classes and experienced guides that will maximize this unparalleled Vermont vacation.

For Hiking Vacation Program consist of guided novice, intermediate or advanced hike, excursion, nightly movie or lecture. Massages, yoga class , cooking classes, etc are available à la carte. For those in our Healthful Living Programs post hike, guests unwind with a late afternoon yoga class and/or a massage if desired. During busy times, a water aerobics course is offered. But the fun fun doesn't stop there, after dinner we either have a cooking class while discussing nutritional facts and myths or show a movie or documentary. We also have personal trainers, Registered Dietitians, tennis professionals, canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding, rock climbing, caving, fly fishing, cycling and mountain biking available for sessions à la carte.

 

  

The Grey Bonnet Inn and Resortoffers all the cozy, traditional pleasures of a Vermont country inn. Including air conditioned rooms and a spa for those guests who wish to get relaxed and indulge their senses with massage therapy, reflexology, acupuncture or cymatherapy (sound therapy), personalized training and fitness consultation by appointment.

Appalachian Trail Adventures Hiking Spa has collaborated with Registered Dietitians, Rosa Donohue MS, RD, CDN and Jill Corey MS, RD both have a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition. They have created our delicious spa menu and work daily with our chefs. Our meals are a healthy balance of carbohydrates, proteins and healthy fats. We offer a vegetarian option at every meal and cater to special diets, such as vegan, low sugar, sodium-, wheat- and dairy-free options. Guests who stay in our Healthful Living Program for over three nights receive a complimentary copy of our Healthful Living Cookbook.
